Par is built by Swipe Tech, a payments company. Most POS vendors resell someone else's processing and quietly mark it up. We own that layer, so the economics flow to the course.

What does Par replace?

Your POS, tee sheet, online booking, and reporting, plus your payment processor. One system, one statement, one company to call. If you keep a tool you love, we'll talk integration honestly.

What hardware does it run on?

Modern Android payment terminals: handhelds for the cart and stations for the shop and grill, with the back office in any browser. We ship terminals pre-configured; you plug them in.

What happens when the Wi-Fi drops on the course?

The cart keeps selling. Orders queue on the device and sync when signal returns. Every sale carries a unique fingerprint, so a replay can never double-charge a golfer.

Is dual pricing actually legal?

Yes. Par uses the cash-discount model: two posted prices, with cards paying the posted card price. That model is compliant in all 50 states, and Par handles the details, including how debit is treated, so you stay on the right side of the rules.

How much does it cost?

A straightforward monthly rate for the software and one transparent processing rate. No per-module pricing games. Founding courses lock a permanent discounted rate. Book a demo and we'll quote it plainly.

How painful is switching?

We do the heavy lifting: catalog, customers, staff, and settings migrated for you, terminals arriving ready to use. Staff sign in with a PIN and are selling in minutes. Most courses switch between a Sunday close and a Tuesday open.
